The IC Immigration Advising staff offer a number of workshops throughout the year on a variety of topics related to your student status in the U.S. We encourage you to attend the immigration-related workshops listed below:

POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS

These powerpoint presentations were prepared by David Ware, an immigration attorney, and were used in presentations that he gave for international students and scholars at Florida State University in 2006. Mr. Ware is a member of the NAFSA: Association of International Educators and frequently speaks at state, regional, and national NAFSA conferences. Please contact your advisor at the International Center if you have any questions or need clarification about any of the information in the presentations.

JUST FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The Dean and the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies meet monthly with international graduate students for a question-and-answer session and to discuss issues students face in graduate school. These sessions are planned based on feedback from international students about the challenges of attending graduate school in a new culture. Refreshments will be served.
