OTHER WAYS TO GIVE
There are a large number of relief and aid agencies working to provide assistance to those in need, not only for the crisis in China and Myanmar but also for the crises other areas of the world. If you want to make a donation to help in relief efforts, the Internet abounds with listings of such agencies. To help you choose which one to donate to, some good resources are:

For example, donations to organizations such as Americares and the Red Cross are most helpful as their administrative costs are low; hence, most of your contributions go directly toward relief. Beware too of phishing scams, that is, email sent to trick you into donating money toward bogus organizations supposedly involved in relief efforts as well as stealing your identity.
